I had the chance to meet one of our piper's at a session in Pittsburgh! Pretty awesome. After- I realized I have been in sessions with him in 3 States- and 2 countries- and counting!!

Santa brought me an early present. Can you guess what it is??? I am going to disclose the contents of the case at our Next Piping Days event Jan. 27, 2024 at "The Pub" at Lake Monticello. Hope to see you there!!

Unfortunately I need to let you know our IUPD program has been cancelled. We had some issues we tried to fix- and just weren't successful. We are putting all our effort to our Tionol and concert by Cillian Vallely and David Doocey. Registration is active. Hope to see you there!!

Hi piper friends, EJ Jones, one of my favorite pipers, is playing up in Laurel, MD on 9/8.  He's actually the reason I started playing flute... he's not too shabby at that either. I can't go, so you should and I can live vicariously :P  He primarily plays Scottish and Breton music, so highland pipes, smallpipes, bombard, etc., not so much uilleann pipes. He also spent about a decade making his living from making smallpipes and I believe is still doing that part-time. Feel free to forward as well, I think y'all might have more local piper contacts than I do! Augie - (one of our BRIMS Flute instructor)

This is a pic of the mods I madd to my bellows. At the Piping Days- I was having to slip in extra padding- this id the final finished product. I replaced the leather sheath on my arm strap with a padded- - more breathable sheath. Tihs pads the strap on my outer elbow and in the front of the joint. The foam padd was sculpted to match my Kelleher bellows- and I used the same padded- breathable material to cover to hold it all in place- and so far I seem to sweat less. I added the extra padding because my medial elbow nerve- Ulnar Nerve- was getting some pressure and tingling from the manufacutred pad- not goog for me. Just a little closed cell foam was all it took to stop the pressure. Trying to spot potential issues that can effect my ability to play!!
