BRIMS and WTJU FM present Frankie Gavin, traditional fiddle-player and founder member of Dé Danann. Frankie Gavin was awarded the prestigious Gradam Ceoil award in 2018. Since Dé Danann’s first album in 1975, and Gavin’s inaugural solo album with Alec Finn on bouzouki in 1977, he has been at the forefront of Irish fiddle-playing.

Catherine McHugh is widely regarded as Ireland’s foremost piano accompanist and is featured on Frankie’s recent album Port Eireann.
